【キリトリデザインとは】
絵が得意な人もいれば、そうでない人もいる。
けれど、絵の1部を「切り取れば」誰にでもチャンスがある。キリトリデザインは、考案者・大藤雅幸のそんな発想から生まれた福祉施設向けデザイン支援活動です。
東京都内の福祉施設で行われた実験授業が大きな反響を呼び、2020年に本格的な活動を開始。
依頼を受けた全国の施設で「絵の出張授業」を行い、そこで生まれた絵を実用品のデザインに活用し、福祉施設が自分たちのオリジナル商品として販売できる仕組みを提供しています。
Wikipediaをはじめ、第三者メディアでも広く紹介されるこの活動は、デザインで福祉と社会をつなぐ新しい形として、全国の施設に広がっています。
What is KIRITORI Design?
Some people are good at drawing, and some are not. But by “cutting out” portions of drawings, everyone has an opportunity.
KIRITORI Design is a design support initiative for welfare facilities, born from this idea of its creator, Masayuki OOFUJI. After a pilot class held at a welfare facility in Tokyo received a strong response, the project officially began in 2020. Through on-site art workshops held at facilities nationwide, the artworks created are incorporated into designs for practical products. This provides a system that enables welfare facilities to sell these items as their own original goods.
This initiative, which has been widely featured on Wikipedia and in other third-party media, is spreading nationwide as a new way of connecting welfare and society through design.

A free download service where payment is made not with money, but with messages of support. These A4-size sheets can be used freely for any purpose. Though messages are optional, many warm words have been received, and they are delivered to the artists, their families, and the facilities, nurturing their joy and confidence.
